Red K Products presents: 1995 Pizza Hut "Casper" Promotional Counter Display - A Rare Relic of 90s Dining!
Step back into the "Red Roof" era of dining with this exceptional Pizza Hut "Munch Down Meal" counter display! Released in 1995 to promote the first-ever CGI feature film Casper, this piece is a genuine survivor from the Golden Age of fast food marketing. Produced by Phoenix Display & Packaging for Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures, this vibrant standee features the iconic "Ghostly Trio"—Fatso, Stinkie, and Stretch—looming over the beloved Friendly Ghost. With its "edgy" 90s typography and deep midnight blue color palette, this display captures the exact moment when Saturday night meant a Personal Pan Pizza and a trip to the movies. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of "McNostalgia" that was designed to be thrown away but miraculously survived.
Perfect for:
- 90s Kids & Nostalgia Collectors: Anyone who remembers the "Munch Down Meal" and the $1.49 glow-in-the-dark puppets.
- Pizza Hut & Fast Food Historians: A perfect centerpiece for a collection of "Red Roof" ephemera.
- Casper & Amblin Fans: A unique collectible celebrating the technological milestone of the 1995 film.
- Prop Stylists & Decorators: An authentic "set piece" for creating a vintage 90s atmosphere.
Condition: This is a vintage commercial printing artifact in phenomenal "New Old Stock" (NOS) condition. Unlike most surviving examples that were grease-stained or bent during restaurant use, this unit appears never to have been deployed. The colors remain vibrant with no significant fading. Crucially, the "easel" on the reverse side is flat and unbent, preserving the structural integrity of the piece. The die-cut corners are sharp, and the piece presents beautifully.
Here's the list of contents:
- Original 1995 Pizza Hut "Munch Down Meal" Counter Display: The un-assembled cardboard standee featuring Casper and the Ghostly Trio.
- Original Set-Up Instructions: The rare, accompanying paper sheet from Phoenix Display & Packaging Corp. detailing assembly for the "Easel Display" and "Please Wait To Be Seated Sign."
